Warranty Policy

CENSE Warranty

Thank you for choosing CENSE products. This warranty policy outlines the terms and conditions under which your product is covered for any defects in materials or workmanship. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.

Warranty Duration

CENSE offers a limited warranty on all products for up to 2 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period may vary depending on the product category. Please refer to your product manual or purchase receipt for the specific warranty duration applicable to your product.

What the Warranty Covers

This limited warranty covers the following:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship that arise under normal use during the warranty period
  • Repair or replacement of parts deemed faulty by CENSE or its authorized repair centers
  • Labor costs associated with the repair of defective parts or product replacement

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover the following circumstances:

  • Damage due to misuse, negligence, or failure to follow the product instructions
  • Damage resulting from improper installation or maintenance not performed by an authorized service center
  • Damage due to external factors, such as power surges, lightning strikes, or natural disasters
  • Normal wear and tear of consumable parts, such as batteries, bulbs, filters, or other components subject to degradation over time
  • Alterations or modifications made to the product by unauthorized personnel
  • Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, dents, or discoloration, that do not affect the performance of the product
  • Products where the serial number has been altered, defaced, or removed

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If your product has a defect covered by this warranty, please follow these steps to make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact CENSE customer support at support@censepower.com. Provide your proof of purchase, such as a receipt or invoice.
  2. Describe the issue you are experiencing with the product in detail. We may ask for photos or videos of the defect to assess the claim more effectively.
  3. CENSE or an authorized service center will evaluate the claim. If approved, we will provide instructions for shipping the product for repair or replacement.
  4. In the case of replacement, the new product or part may be new or refurbished and of equal or higher functionality.

Note: You are responsible for shipping costs to send the product to CENSE or the authorized service center. CENSE will cover the return shipping of the repaired or replacement product.

Replacement and Repair Policy

In the event of a defect, CENSE may choose to either repair or replace the product at our discretion. Replacements will only be provided if the defective product cannot be repaired or the cost of repair is prohibitive. The replacement product may be a new or refurbished model of similar or superior specifications.

If your product is replaced, the warranty period does not reset but continues from the original purchase date. Replacement parts used in the repair are warranted for the remaining duration of the original warranty period or 90 days, whichever is longer.

Disclaimer of Other Warranties

Except for the express warranties set forth in this document, CENSE disclaims all other warranties, either express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Any warranties that may arise during the course of dealing, custom, or usage of trade are expressly excluded.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances will CENSE be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of use, or damage to data, arising out of the use or inability to use the product. CENSE’s total liability, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall be limited to the purchase price of the product.

Warranty Transfer

This warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser of the product. Any transfer of ownership will void the warranty.

Governing Law

This warranty policy and any disputes arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Your Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from country to country. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
